Earlier when mobiles were introduced messaging cost was too high and then network providers came up with message offers. Later  telecomm companies introduced mobile internet and then slowly people started connecting  through mobile internet. Developers started developing different applications through which people started interacting with each other.Now world has gone mobile with the invention of smartphones. Smartphones are replacing desktops and notebooks. 3G and 4G technologies made people surf internet in blazing speeds.

WeChat is a web based chatting app. Though it is not first of it’s kind it has many new features compared to it’s competitors. It’s features include

Live Chat – Chat with friends who are online.
Group Chat – You can chat with multiple friends at a time by starting a group conversation.
Voice Chat – You can record your voice and send that as message to your friend.
Video call – Talk to your friends face to face on a video call.
Moments – Share your pics with your online friends.
Look Around – Based on your location it shows people near by who are using WeChat and enable Look Around Service.
Shake – Shake your phone to see a random person who is also shaking their mobile.
Drift Bottle -Throw a message in bottle into sea someone will pick it and replies back. You can pick the bottle write a reply and throw it back to the sea.
